Egypt 15-24 January 2011

Hi guys! update on the Egypt trip 2011. Dates are confirm to be on the 15-24 january. Flight depart Singapore on the 14th midnight transit at Doha and arrive in Luxor on the 15th. We will be arriving back to Singapore around 3pm on the 24th jan just in time for the Chinese New Year. Total package price including flight, food (not every meal) and accomodation is about S$2800. Flight seats are very limited so pls give me your names to block the flight seats asap do not delay if not you can take a train to Egypt urself haahaa :)
Thereafter you need to put a $500 deposit and pay the full amount 3 weeks before flight. Alright sign off for now...Hurry sign up!

10 Days Exotic Egypt by Universal Travel

Hi guys! Updating you all on the latest news of the 2011 Egypt tour. Just went to Natas fair and collected some info from Universal Travel. Above is the 10 days itenary follow by a simplified map of Egypt.

The date of departure is almost confirm on the 7th Jan night flight and arriving Singapore on the 17th Jan afternoon. The tour package cost is about $1999 depending on the air ticket price during Jan and got to add all the rubbish taxes, visas, service fee etc and additional $170 for Abu Simbel. The total cost will come out to about $2700+. For Universal Travel they need a minimum of 10 pax to form a confirm tour so there shouldnt be any problem from our side right?

Just to find out whether you all interested to extend maybe 1 or 2 days to go Sharm el-Sheikh which is the Red Sea. Relax by the resort and beaches before flying back to Singapore since we are already in Egypt. I will get more info and additional costing for the extension soon.

Dear all travellers, seems like none contributing much to the blog accept the tour leader and the assistant tour leader WTH, world cup ended wake up and start doing something usefullll! anyway just to let you all uninterested people know we are calling off the trip....haahaa kidding la why that silly shocking expression? (i thought not interested)

The tentative departure date is on the 8th Jan 2010 morning 2am and returning on the 18th Jan (about 10days). flying on Qatar Airways woohoo middle eastern stewardess watever.....k if nothing goes wrong see u all at the airport on the 8th jan next yr......be cool :)

Available Tours out there

Hi all, these are the two tour operator options we considered for the Egypt trip. The first one is by Universal Tours and costs just over $2000 SGD inclusive. The second option (2 pages) is another one we looked at and costs $2500 SGD inclusive. The main difference is that the more expensive option offers stay in a 5* hotel. Both tours do NOT include a trip to Abu Simbel which i think is an absolute must, so we should consider adding that on to the trip as well.

Tour Egypt 2011

Hi all! the assistant tour guide of Egypt 2011 addressing to all of you.....of cos the leading tour guide is non other than Mr. Shamim!

The tentative date for the trip is mid Jan 2011 and coming back just before the lunar new year.

I am now collecting names for those who are intersted, do let me know earlier and dun wait till Egypt is in the Worldcup before telling me!

I am suggesting taking a tour from Universal Travel Corporation in Singapore. The whole tour consist of staying on board a boat that cruises down river Nile from Cairo to Luxor then Aswan. You will eat sleep shit f**k on board the boat! The boat will cruise at night and in the day we will be doing sightseeing. So we can save the hassle on arranging hotels and transport to places of interest. Anyway our leading tour guide Shamim is very buzy and i doubt he has time to do much research so we can just join this river Nile tour and sleep and just go wherever the boat take us. this is only my suggestion so pls comment thanx. (rubbish comments pls save it)

I suggest all those who is joining this trip pls go read up on Egypt history. At least u dun go there to juz stare at big blocks of triangle stuff and look like an Egyptian idiot! haahaa.....for those ladies who is thinking of going there to shop or look for LV or PRATA or CHANEL boutique u can dream! maybe u can find LV bag made 2000 yrs ago classic haahaa! go to this link they have some useful info there (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt). Shamim pls provide us more reading material and info.

All those who is interested in this trip pls contribute to this blog and let me know what is your useful role in preparation for this coming trip.
